I am asking for additional prayers for a job interview I have scheduled for laterthis afternoon. I value the medical training I have acquired, the lives of my pts I have been fortunate to be a part of, the care and empathy I have been able to provide in times of duress, and the sense of purpose this has provided for me. Lord, I ask that you allow those with ability to make decisions about my employment to see the pride, my talent, and the value I take in providing care to others. If it is your will, please allow me to contribute my knowledge and skills to this new community I am becoming a part of.

I want to thank God for answered prayer for an Ace Hardware employee's healing. He and I talked a coupe of times about when he was in the middle of this trail. As someone who went through melanoma of the eye, I was able to relate to him. My trial opened a door to come alongside this wonderful man in prayer, which he was open to and grateful for. His face was in rough shape at the time due to melanoma. But the treatment has cleared him up. Interesting how hurting people will welcome prayers. Let's hold that perspective for ourselves, I say this as a reminder to myself as much as anything, that hardships shouldn't dampen our view of God's love for us, but shape our perspective as we engage with the Holy Spirit in the midst of our trials. Please pray that I would have confidence in the Holy Spirit to speak to this man about a relationship with Christ. I talk too much... pray about that too. lol Talk about an act of God.

Please pray that my thyroid biopsy at the end of August is benign. I had my left thyroid gland removed in 2018 due to suspicious goiters and shortness of breath (as they were deviating my trachea). They've been watching the goiters on my right thyroid since then and this time one has grown to a certain size and shape that is suspicious, so they recommended a fine needle aspiration. 
Please also pray that I can enjoy my trip to Oregon (to visit my daughter's and grandchildren) without the worry of this biopsy outcome on my mind.
